“If you know what I mean, great. If you don’t, doesn’t matter. But you should probably read more.”
– Steve Coogan as Tony Wilson in the film 24 Hour Party People
This one is pretty straight forward. If you have a book you’ve been meaning to read, today is the day. If you don’t have a book, I know where you can get one.
So… you know… read a book.
Preferably a book from the library – they’re free, you don’t have to find space for them in your house once you’re done with them, and if you are having trouble picking one out you can always ask the nearest friendly librarian what s/he would recommend. In fact, there is no need to limit yourself to just one. Check out as many books as you like.
And don’t get me started on ebooks. Did you know that the library has 3 different collections of e-materials? OverDrive/OMNI, Axis360 and Hoopla all provide library patrons with access to numerous ebooks (and more). All you need is your library card.
